To reach your full potential, an idea of how to plan your career is a very good idea.

Making long-term plans allows you to tailor your career plans accordingly. 

You must have well-defined plans to arrive at your destination.

Career advancement is not solely the responsibility of the leadership cadre.

Some people resist planning out their career due to fear of failure

Sometimes this is of fear of failing to achieve goals in the new environment.

Others fear a major blow to their ego. 

As you advance in your career, you become more involved and committed, making you a quick learner.

In the process, you become well versed in your area of specialization, no matter how intricate the subject or situation may be.

 Psychology also has a pivotal point to play in career planning. Extroverts can easily manipulate situations to their advantage because they socialize well, which is essential for a manager to be a good leader.
