Five signs you need a new job
We’ve all had days when we gaze at the clock, hopeful that the next time we look, it is time to go home.
We nationalise it by saying it’s nice out or that we have someplace to be, but is that really the case, or is it time for something new?
Take a look at the five signs listed below. If you can agree with even one of these, you should start looking for a new job!
Sign 1: Your expenses outdo your salary
We’ve all taken a shine to a particular way of life, which requires us to work to survive. If you don’t want to work to live, you should think about changing jobs when you can’t afford your current lifestyle!
Sign 2: Your boss keeps forgetting your name
This one can be excruciating. We endure it, if they don’t realize our presence, they won’t notice when you leave.
Put your skillset to practical use by working for companies that value it!
Sign 3: You haven’t been considered for a promotion in the last two years
If you’re content with earning the same hourly rate or salary you did when you first started, you must be a wealthy person!
Either that or you’re content with the fact that the value of your antique clock rises faster than your hourly basis or salary!
Sign 4: Your bonus is peanuts
If you work for an employer who makes millions of dollars and the bonus you get is just peanuts, I would consider yourself very less in the picture! A different job could lead to a better boss!
Sign 5: You have a boss’s role and a worker’s salary
Have you ever wondered why your boss and your previous bosses were fired? And your workload just ensued to rise when they got fired? If that’s the case, you were simply a victim of a budget cut. Remove the high salary, then distribute the workload among those who remain. If you do someone’s job, you should be compensated for it.
